Sea Monster-cum-Dragon
Now that I have a nice, easily printed grid for LEGO and DUPLO bricks, it was time to use it creatively. And what better use could there be than to take a creature out of the sea and into the air?
I have drawn the outline of a wing on a folded sheet of construction paper. I would've printed the grid right on the paper, but it was too large for my printer.
I've now completely cut out the wing, and drawn a rectangle where I will cut around the holes to make the wing fit over the DUPLO studs. (If I was using LEGO, instead, I'd use a hole punch instead of cutting out an area.)
I found it difficult to find build examples of Lego Duplo for my children. Following site satisfied my needs: http://www.buildingexamples.com/
There are building instructions for all ages.
If you see the eyes of your children excel in pride, then your heart really melt. Have fun!
